First of all, the entrance will be missed if you blink. Second, nearly all the trees have identification tags on them.
This area has a large welcoming area soon after entering. This wide open area is more sparsely populated with trees and a pavilion. There are also several trails through densely wooded areas. Now, none of the areas are paved, except the pavilion, not even the parking area.
The trails are not well marked but most people should have no trouble following them. Additionally, you will want to be aware of the fire ants hills. Although I am rusty on my plant taxonomy, I swear there are a few trees that were googled for id rather than consulting a taxonomic key.

Great little park. The playground could use some fresh chips but it’s a great place for a lunch picnic and a short hike. Could use the bonds of the hiking property to be a bit more defined and have the trails marked a bit better but considering the lack of public stuff in the county it’s great.

It has been a long time since my last visit. It was absolutely beautiful. This is a perfect place to come & relax, meditate, pray or reflect. It’s a perfect place for small children, with a playground & seperate bathrooms. Fireplaces & grills are also on site for any picnicking you have planned. Just a wonderful location.
