Nice park. Driving from the northeast to middle Georgia, I pulled over to buy gas and searched for a dog park nearby. This one was second on the list and had about 1200 reviews. I thought it was south of where I was, but it wasn’t. Very clean park. Nice dog owner that I met. My pup and hers didn’t get along, but nice park with a dog run, large and small dog area.

We visited for the 1st time for a weekend soccer tournament and were pleasantly surprised by the size of the park, the playing fields, concession stand, facilities, and playground for the younger set. Hopefully we’ll return again for some soccer fun in the future! A fun place for the entire family!

The best trail in this park is the one around the lake. Our family loves walking this path. It’s completely paved, and takes you through a scenic winding route through forest with water views and then across a meadow with a hilltop swing, and several viewing platforms along the way (from one of which you can glimpse a dinosaur!) There are no steep sections, so anyone who can do a moderate walk can enjoy this trail. There are plenty of benches along the way if you need a rest. We never get tired of this trail. We see a lot of people walking or running it, people with dogs and sometimes cyclists. Pay attention and you can see turtles, a variety of birds, and even wild mushrooms. The loop is about 2 miles, and takes about 50 minutes to walk if you do not rush. You access this trail through the Hog Mountain Road entrance, where you will find a fairly large parking lot. We have never had trouble finding a parking space. This is a wonderful park to have some family time and get some exercise and fresh air at the same time. If you find your kids playing too much Minecraft on the weekends, bring them out for a walk here for a change of pace!

So much wildlife to appreciate.the playground is very nice as well. Miller lake makes for some amazing views as you walk the trail. Be sure to stop by the many docks. You might stumble upon some sights that are before our time!😉 get there early before parking fills up on weekends.

This a nice clean park. The waterfall sounds very relaxing and the setting is beautiful. Great place to go ready, write or maybe even a little date. There’s picnic tables that have a good view of the waterfall. To be a smaller waterfall it’s still a nice size and the water seems pretty deep by the waterfall but your not allowed to go in. There’s some amazing graffiti under the bridge that nobody seemed to check out in there pics but it’s actually pretty nice. There’s a real nice playground with the soft material incase a kid falls. The hike isn’t long what so ever. I wouldn’t put this on my hiking list but definitely on my nice places list. I will be back to write some poetry and relax. I was there during pek time and no one was really there.
